When I was younger (around 20 years ago.. lol), my classmates and I are fond of slambooks. Slambooks are passed around for classmates/friends to fill in their answers on questions posted such as... "Who's your first love?", "Who's your first kiss?" and the infamous..."What is love?".

Singing Love Songs

I just love singing...singing hates me though. ;)

Tomorrow is Valentines Day and almost all of the music being played on the radio are love songs. I was singing while I was driving home. One that I liked was that of Sarah Geronimo singing the soundtrack of her upcoming movie "You Changed My Life". When I got home, I searched for a video and lyrics of the song. I sang with the video until I get to memorize the lyrics. (lol) That's the same thing I did on the song "A Very Special Love".

Now, I just would want to apologize to my neighbors. No, it's not frogs you are hearing...it's just me singing. :)

I just read the story about a fireman who rescued a baby in 1968. He found the baby not breathing and had no pulse. He breathe life into her while he was taking the baby out of the burning building. The baby, who's now 40 years old, finally met him to say thank you. It is such a nice story. Check out the link above to read the whole story and see the video as well.

An Early Christmas Gift

Today is the 1st day of December and I already received a Christmas present from Mommy Gen of Wonderful Things In Life. She was also the one who made me my logo. Her Christmas gift to me is a new lay-out for my blog.

This is my first time to change my lay-out since I started blogging. The thing is, I really don't know how to get a new one and don't even know how to install one. ;)

Then came an email from Mommy Gen that she would make me one. She just asked me some little details of the things I want for my lay-out (ie number of columns, color, etc), and two days after, she emailed me the code already.

And since I just changed my lay-out, I still have to update my blogroll. For my blog friends, please give some time to do this. You may not find your name yet in the list. I will try to finish updating it by tomorrow.

Myomectomy

I have had an operation last October. Kanau, one of my blog friends, wanted me to post something about my operation. Last August, I had known that I had a myoma on my uterus and my ob-gyne told me that it should be removed asap as it was bigger that my uterus already.

So I had my myomectomy last month. Myomectomy is the surgical removal of uterine fibroids. In myomectomy, only the myoma is removed thus retaining the reproductive potential of the woman.

When my ob-gyne told me that my myoma was bigger that my uterus, I can't imagine how big that was. After the operation, the myoma that was removed from my tummy was shown to us before bringing it to the laboratory for biopsy. It was bigger than my fist.

I'm ok now. Just resting from work for awhile, as suggested by my doctor. ;)

Cute Baby Rabbits

We just saw the newest members of our pet rabbit clan. We have 6 cute little baby rabbits in our backyard. We didn't know that Cookie, our pregnant pet rabbit, already gave birth. Her tummy is still big and we thought that she is still pregnant. She hid her babies well. When we saw them, they already can walk and had furs already. We then knew that they are not newly born. We did not take them away from the nest just yet. We will just wait for them to get bigger and ready to hop in our lawn anytime soon. ;)

What makes me busy now a days??? Got hooked with Avatar, The Last Airbender. This has three seasons already, but I'm just halfway on its 1st Season yet. I heard about this anime months ago from a friend who loved this anime so much. She finished all three seasons already. I am not much of an anime lover, thus, I didn't look it up. Weeks ago, my nephews were watching TV and I saw that they were watching Avatar. I watched along with them and actually enjoyed the show as well. I looked it up in the internet afterwards and started watching from Episode 1.

Losing Weight .... Soooo Hard!!!

From my blog title, everybody could have easily guessed that I'm fat. ;)

I was not fat when I was younger. I started to get fat when I was in high school. I lost weight in college but still was chubby. I got bigger when I started to work. (My first job was in a fast food chain... i just can't resist temptation! haha)

I've tried different things just to lose weight. This includes but not limited to: fasting, going to the gym, diet pills, diet tea, etc. But nothing ever worked. I'm not blaming the diet pills and gym instructors though...the problem is just me. I lack the discipline to actually lose some pounds. Everytime I try to lose some, I gain back a lot more.

Then I realized that I'm not getting any younger, and being fit is very important. I get sick a lot lately. I know that I have to be more serious regarding the matter. I need to lose some weight. I hope I can do it this time around. ;)

Honey and Ginger....Fast Relief for Asthma!

I had an asthma attack three days ago. But this was just mild compared to my previous attacks. I then researched in the internet about asthma and some natural remedies for it. There were lots of natural remedies listed. I then tried the honey with ginger remedy. The article said to drink a teaspoonful of honey and a teaspoonful of ginger juice. But I thought I can't do it. I'm not so fond of honey and ginger juice, thus, I don't think I can drink both just like that. Instead, I prepared myself a honey with ginger juice. I added the teaspoonful of honey and a teaspoonful of ginger juice in my Calamansi Juice. It tasted good and also gave me relief from the asthma attack. I didn't have a hard time sleeping that night as I can breathe easily already.

My cousins and my super chubby and cute nephew are here in Davao for an important transaction and a vacation at the same time. It's my first time to meet my nephew, Fritz, the son of my cousin from Ilo-Ilo. He's so cute and very friendly. He always talks to people he meets. His first question..."What's your name?".

I'm having fun playing with him since yesterday. He likes to play, eat, sleep, dance and talk all day long. I wish he'd stay at the house longer. He's just here for a week. I'd surely miss him when he leaves next week. :(

Water Bed Prank

I downloaded the game and played the whole day yesterday. I was supposed to be adding new posts in my blog but I wasn't able to do so because I was hooked up with the games. (lol) I finished Fashion Dash and Ranch Rush yesterday. ;)

Sticky Tape and Apron Strings

I'm fond of reading blogs. One of my favorite blogs that I visit often is the Sticky Tape and Apron Strings by utakmunggo. I find her blog interesting and funny. She have posts that are touching as well, especially when she writes about the residents she's taking care of in a nursing home in UK. But not all can understand her blog though, only Filipinos, as her posts were written in Tagalog.

Utakmunggo is a nurse. She was a teacher in a nursing school here in the Philippines before she went to UK to work. She's married and a mother of two. Her blog's tagline is "misadventures on life and motherhood..plus a few deluded ideas."

Visit at the Spa

I usually visit the spa and have a body massage twice a month. Last night I had the aroma body massage. You can choose from among three scents that you like. It's more relaxing having scented oil used for the massage than that of the regular body massage. I chose peppermint for last night. I will then try eucalyptus in my next visit.

I've read that massage therapy addresses a variety of health conditions. Massage relieves stress and promotes relaxation. This is the main reason why I have my body massaged at least once a month. Body massage helps release stress and tension in our bodies by increasing oxygen flow and blood circulation in the body.

Another interesting benefit of body massage that I've read is that it assists weight loss. It was not explained though how and/or why. But this definitely is a nice thing to know. I just might increase my visit at the spa. ;)

I Missed Blogging

It's been seven days since my last post. I got busy the past few days. And I got no internet connection for 2 days because my internet connection provider had a technical problem. I missed blogging. When I was out of the house, I was thinking of what to write about next. Like when I was stuck in traffic, I was looking at vendors at the side of the street and was concerned about food safety and I thought I would write something about this is my blog. Then when I was having lunch or dinner out, I thought of writing about the food I ordered in the restaurant. When I was in the spa, I also wanted to write about it here in my blog. But when I sat today and opened my laptop, I don't know what to write first. (lol) What I know is that I missed posting in my blog. ;)

Myths, Facts and Statistics About Asthma

It's almost a month that I have recurring asthma attacks. I have had also one of my worst attack ever just last week. With this, I take some time researching about asthma in the internet. I would then post some of my readings here in my blog so as to share these important learnings to those people suffering from the same illness.

We start by knowing some myths, facts and statistics about asthma thru this short true or false quiz:

T or F - Asthma is "all in the mind."
T or F - You will "grow out of it."
T or F - Asthma can be cured, so it is not serious and nobody dies from it.
T or F - You are likely to develop asthma if someone in your family has it.
T or F - You can "catch" asthma from someone else who has it.
T or F - Moving to a different location, such as the desert, can cure asthma.
T or F - People with asthma should not exercise.
T or F - Asthma does not require medical treatment.
T or F - Medications used to treat asthma are habit-forming.
T or F - Someone with asthma can provoke episodes anytime they want in order to get attention.

Here are the answers:

F - Asthma is not a psychological condition. However, emotional triggers can cause flare-ups.
F - You cannot outgrow asthma. In about 50% of children with asthma, the condition may become inactive in the teenage years. The symptoms, however, may reoccur anytime in adulthood.
F - There is no cure for asthma, but the disease can be controlled in most patients with good medical care. The condition should be taken seriously, since uncontrolled asthma may result in emergency hospitalization and possible death.
T - You have a 6% chance of having asthma if neither parent has the condition, a 30% chance if one parent has it, and a 70% chance if both parents have it.
F - Asthma is not contagious.
F - A new environment may temporarily improve asthma symptoms, but it will not cure asthma. After a few years in the new location, many people become sensitized to the new environment and the asthma symptoms return with the same or even greater intensity than before.
F - Swimmin is an optimal exercise for those with asthma. On the other hand, exercising in dry, cold air may be a trigger for asthma in some people.
F - Asthma is best controlled by having an asthma management plan designed by your doctor that includes the medications used for quick relief and those used as controllers.
F - Asthma medications are not addictive.
F - Asthma attacks cannot be faked.

The Lunch That Ruined My Planned Diet

I ate my lunch at Bigby's today. We visited their new branch which just opened last August 8. The restaurant is clean and service is fast and friendly.

When we eat at Bigby's, we always order for their famous "Rack-a-bye Baby". But not for today. I ordered the sinful Belly Sizzlers. I am supposed to be in a diet (lol), but I was hungry and craved for the belly recipe. It was delicious but obviously ruined my planned diet. I shouldn't have ate out so as not be tempted to eat what I'm not supposed to eat.

Hopefully tomorrow I will have the discipline to stick with the plan. ;)

Craving for Grilled Squid

I lost my appetite when I got sick. But now I feel much better and I feel like eating....a lot! What I want to eat now is Gerry's Grill Grilled Squid. I went to Gerry's Grill two months ago to try their Sans Rival because a friend told me that it was delicious. I did not like their Sans Rival that much but I loved their Grilled Squid. Superb!

Still Spoiled at 31

I am 31 years old already and still spoiled at home. I actually hate it. Though the intention is good, that is for me to recover soon, it does ruin my schedules.

I get sick easily the past few weeks. I got allergic rhinitis and acute bronchial asthma for two straight weeks. I was not to go out as I am allergic to dust. Those two weeks were the longest week ever. I cannot go out to work and/or meet with friends (who I am obligated to meet really because we're planning for two weddings this September). After the two weeks long rest at home, I was able to get out and work last Friday, but unfortunately, I got sick again and had a bad case of asthma attack that Friday evening. It was a blessing in disguise that my project work last Friday was done by noon and I was able to go home immediately afterwards. Then the next day, I had one of my worst asthma attack. I saw my face turned red as I had difficulty breathing because of non-stop coughing. They wanted to bring me to the hospital but I told them that I was totally ok and that it was only asthma and I can handle it. But honestly, i was not that ok. But thank God, I was feeling much better the day after. But today (Monday), I am still am not allowed to go out. I am supposed to go to my project work but I obviously can't because I'm grounded.

Since I got sick two (almost three) weeks ago, I was not to do any chores at home. That's how spoiled I am the past few weeks. This should make me happy, but I'm not. I feel so restless and worthless that I can't do anything at all.

I hope I'd feel better soon so that I can go back to my normal life. I want to be busy and do something already.

Just a while ago, I was happy because our pet rabbit showed some signs that she is about the give birth anytime. Maybe today, tomorrow or a few days from now. I was so excited 'coz we would again have baby rabbits in the house. I love our pet rabbits. They are so cute.

But now, the mood just turned from happiness to sadness. As one of our puppies is so weak. My cousin and nephew think that she is dying. I think she's just sick. My cousin was about to feed the dogs when she saw the little one just lying and was so weak. We got her out of the dog house and checked her condition. She is still breathing though but she is so weak. We got her some food and water but she wouldn't touch any of it. We just let her lie down in the garage with food and water at her side. Maybe she would just eat some and drink some later if she wants to. Hope she gets well soon.

Nice Wedding Song

My friends and I went to the beach last Saturday. We had this planned to help our bride-to-be friend prepare for her wedding. We had a checklist and discussed the items listed. Almost everything were done except that of her invitations. A longer time was consumed just discussing about the invitation cards.

We also discussed about nice wedding songs. One that I suggested was Lea Salonga's Two Words. I personally like the song. Lea sung this song in her wedding. His husband was crying while she sang.

Our friend, the bride, is not familiar with the song. I searched for the lyrics of the song and a video from YouTube so that I can email these to her.

Bar Lola opened in May, 2006 at Portland, Maine. Why do I blog about this restaurant? It's because the chef/owner of this restaurant is my cousin Guy. I haven't met him personally because he has not been in the Philippines ever. And I on the other hand haven't set foot on the USA, specifically in Maine. His sister doesn't miss sending a Christmas card every year. Pictures are enclosed every time. I knew since 2006 that Guy and his wife Stella opened a restaurant. But it was just this year that I thought of looking for it through Google. I did found their website and read reviews about Bar Lola. One of the reviews even mentioned one recipe Guy is serving in his restaurant. He is serving a Filipino dish which he called the Tony's Chicken and Rice recipe. Tony was my father's eldest brother.

Allergic Rhinitis Attack!

These past few weeks, I've been having constant attack of my allergic rhinitis. I hate it when this happens. I would sneeze like a rhinoceros (as what my nephews tease me). I have to take my anti-allergy pill to be relieved from the allergy attack. The medicine though makes me feel drowsy and I would fall into a deep sleep. I just did. I just woke up. I slept after lunch and woke up just now (it's 5:30 pm).

Below is the Panda Sneeze clip I saw in You Tube. I haven't seen a rhinoceros sneeze. I think I can compare my sneeze to this panda's sneeze. ;)

Blogging Is More Exciting with PayPerPost

I'm into blogging for more than a month now. I enjoy writing, reading other people's blogs and meeting new friends in blogging. But what made it more exciting is the part where you earn by posting.

I have known about PayPerPost from my friend who introduced blogging to me. She was so excited joining PayPerPost to start earning. I browsed then in the internet and checked out the PayPerPost site to know more about how it works. There were opportunities that you could acutally choose to write about with the corresponding pay it would give you. I got interested as well and waited until I am eligible to join. I just got approved and I am very much excited to start as well.

Prices of basic commodities now are increasing. My salary sometimes is not enough to cover my expenses. My future earnings in PayPerPost would be a great add-on on my monthly salary. But I intend to keep it as savings so that I would have some extra money which I could use in case I ran out of funds or for emergency cases.

PayPerPos t surely adds spice into blogging. It's nice that you can make money while doing your favorite past-time -- blogging.

Friends' Day Out

It's been a long time since my friends and I went out to relax and have fun. We don't even have the time just to meet after work to just at least have dinner together or something. Thanks to technology, we still constantly communicate through YM and emails. Last week, we had a YM conference and talked about how nice it would be if we could get together some time. We got so excited of the idea that we actually planned right away that we take a leave from work on Saturday and go to the beach. The plan just finalized today and we are going to a beach for our get-together this coming Saturday. I'm so excited, how I wish tomorrow is already Saturday. ;)

When I was introduced to blogging, I didn't really know what it is. ;) My friend Shengy told me to read blogs for me to get ideas on how to do it. I enjoyed reading blogs. There was this one blog/site where the author has this idea of getting you to participate in her writing a short story. And just for fun, I left my idea for her weekly shorts. I wanted it to be a sort of a fairy tale, starring a pig who fell in love with a dog. This was months ago and I honestly forgot about it already.

Today when I opened my blog, I saw a new comment posted by J Scott. She left a message with a link to the story she wrote on the idea I left on her site.

I was amazed 'coz she actually wrote a story out of my wild imagination. It was kind of fun reading the story.

Friends in Blogging

I started with this blog the other month. I didn't know this was fun until I was one-month old in blogging. You get to visit other people's blogs and read on interesting articles or just see beautiful pictures posted. You learn while you read. Others I know who's into blogging earns for posting. (I'm not into this yet as I'm still a newbie. Or I still just don't know where to find opportunities. lol)

But the nicest thing in blogging for me is meeting people. Though you really don't see them personally, but you interact with them through the cbox or leaving comments, etc. There are a lot of people you get to meet, but there are a few who you can consider as "friends". (They might not feel the same way too though. :))

I was gone for days because I got sick, then two of my blog friends noticed it. I was touched. Yenzz and Ria both left a message in my cbox. Marly is also a nice blog friend. She sees to it that she visits your blog everyday if possible. Sese does, too. They both will leave a message in the cbox to let you know they've visited.

Oh well, it might not be Friendship Day today, but I would like to say thanks to my blog friends. It sure is nice meeting all of you.

I am fond of computer games, but not those that are played by many. There are a lot of kids (and kids at heart) addicted to online games. I just don't come to like those kinds of games. Maybe I'm just too old for those. (lol) I just don't understand how those games are played and what makes it fun.

But yesterday, my nephew introduced me to a game he just discovered through his friends. This is the Triple Jack Poker where you play poker online. I don't know how to play poker. I don't go to Casinos or anything. I don't bet. But I enjoyed playing the game. I actually can't stop playing it. But I have to stop playing or else I can't finish my job.

I see now why people enjoy online games. It's because they are actually playing with real people and not just trying to beat the computer or making the highest score. It's the interaction that makes it fun.

"Handicapped" For Two Hours

As I was cooking breakfast this morning, I happen to burn the 4th finger of my right hand. It was so painful. This happens to me so often. (What a clumsy cook I am!!!) The pain did not go away for hours. I was handicapped for hours as well. I can't wash the dishes. I had a difficult time bathing (as I was not using the right hand). Driving was uncomfortable. I was thankful the pain went away after a few hours. I then thought that it was just a finger. I don't have the right to make a fuss about it. Think about those who don't have the whole arm or feet. It sure is difficult for them.

Princess Diana was assassinated;

Mr. Juseleeno sent a warning letter to Diana via post office on 4th March,1997. I got the message from the God that someone is planning to kill you in the car accident, your life will be dangerous, 7 angels told me about this. You may die in this car accident and the specialist may close this case as a driving mistake, but they are totally wrong. The murder is close to you. And it will happen before 2000.

Juseleeno also send this warning letter to the time, Darlytelegraph and Guardian etc. new agents in England , but never published. The car accident was happened on 31st August,1997, 5 month after the warning letter was sent out. Just as the prophesy said that the case was closed as driving mistake. The accuracy of this prophesy is not only to predict the huge event but also the truth of the intrigue behind the event. There are a lot of rumors after the accident, Diana was killed by the England royal family centered by queen Elizabeth.

The prophesy said it will happen before 2000, though there isnt exact date on, but this prophesy was sent to the president (FernandoHenriqueSilvaCardoso) of Brazil 2 years before the accident and mentioned about from 1997 to 98 that Diana will die etc.

The second attack of World Trade Center , it is 911

Jeseleeno sent the warning letter to the president of USA in 1989, the warning letter had also published at a notarization office which run by Mr. Klicheeba in the town of Palana . This warning letter also predicted that the World Trade Center will get the first attack in 1993, though there was no exact date on but the second attack was clearly told 11th September,2001. Everyone knew the result, the first attack was happened on 26th Feb.1993 three and half year after the warning letter sent out, the parking place was blow up and many people injured, the second attack was happened on 11th Sept.2001, 13 years after the warning letter sent out, it is the 911.

The exclamatory thing is, this prophesy also told about Afghanistan and Iraq war will start after 911, after Iraq lost, the president Haisan will run to Adawr the middle of Iraq etc. are all in the letter, like you all know, the events in the prediction letter were happened one by one.

Sumatra Indonesia earthquake

Juseleeno sent the warning letter about Indonesia Sumatra Earthquake to the India Embassy on 16th September, 1996, about 8 years before the disaster. This warning letter predicted that there will be 8.9 earthquake in Aceh Indonesia in the morning of 26th December,2004. India and Indonesia will be attacked by the tsunami. He sent the warning letter to the president of Indonesia on 30th April, 1997, the letter is about. I dreamed that 7:00am 26th Dec, 2004, South Asia will be attacked by 8.9 earthquake, at the same time will get the tsunami, the area will be Aceh Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Maladiv, Bombay. And many people will be dead.

The result is- the earthquake was happened at 07:58am 26th Dec. More than 200000 people dead, the biggest tsunami was about 30 meters, a lot people were dead by the tsunami. He also sent the same letter to Indonesia , Philippine, Thailand and other Embassies. He also got the thanks letter from these countries.

The thanks letter from Meigawadi said about the 2004 earthquake and tsunami, to prevent the disaster, we must do a lot of things, but in another hand, we can do nothing. The thanks letter from Indonesia Embassy said..we will send this letter to our government, if you have any update information, please let us know.

From above information, Juseleeno already predicted that there will be more than 200000 people die in the tsunami and earthquake 8 years before the disaster, he sent the warning letter with detail date on to these countries, but nobody did any preventive measures.

The writer pick up a few events which Juseleeno predicted for the future.

2007

Tornado attacked Brazil , thousands people dead.

2007 or July of 2008 Japan will get earthquake and get 30 meters tsunami.

Japan will get earthquake and typhoon in October, He predicted that the huge typhoon will happen on 26th October in the warning Letter

USA will get the terror attack on 17th December.

Will find the medicine for AIDS and Dengue

18th July, Philippine will get 8.1 earthquake, thousands people will die

The Empire State Building New York will get terror attack in September.

13th of September, China will get 9.1 earthquake in Nanning and Hainan, at the same time will get 30 meters Tsunami, millions people will die, the tsunami may go to Japan Directly.

2009

25th January. 8.9 earthquake will attacked Japan , Hundred thousands people will die.

November, Japan will get earthquake again. Thousands people will die.

Brazilian government can not pay the insurance because of the finance problems. Will get the riot.

24th August, Istanbul Turkey will get 8.9 earthquake. The road will be parted.

16th December, Sumatra Indonesia will get 7.8 earthquake. Thousands people will die.

The temperature will reach 58 degrees in many countries of Africa , at the same time will lack of water.

The temperature in Africa will reach 58 degrees, it is unbelievable number, but in May 2007, people who travel around Africa said the temperature in Greece and Turkey are already 39-40 degrees, Iraq and Arabia is about 45-46 degrees, it is possible to happen in the summer but not in may, we can imagine that in the summer of 2010, the world will become warmer and Africa will get the high temperature.

2011

Will found the treatment for Cancer. But another new cancer will occur.

Find the treatment for cancer except the brain cancer.
Bahamas of West Indies, from 1st Nov. till 25th the Volcano will break out and bring the earthquake too, after that will be 150 meters huge tsunami, about 80 meters tsunami will go to Caribbean, About 15 kilometer to 20 kilometer to USA , Brazil and other countries. The sea will go down 6 meters before the tsunami and the birds will move away too.

Mr.Juseleeno predicted that when the cats and dogs know the disaster is coming, they want to get away from the venue, they will have strange behaviors 24 hours before the disaster, so we can use that for the standard of judgement.

Will 2008 Beijing Olympic Game be held smoothly?

As above said, in 2008, China will get 9.1 earthquake and more than millions people will die, according to Mr. Juseleeno’s prediction that the earth quake will be 13th September,2008, and Olympic will hold on 8th August-24th, In this schedule, the earthquake will happen after Olympic, but before the big earthquake, there will be a lot of small earthquake, it will make the country and people upset.

There will be a lot of small earthquake before the big one, although Juseleeno didnt predict the exact date, but if we presume the small earthquake will happen one or two month before and it may be the period of Olympic, if so it may make the host and athletes give up. When the writer read this prophesy from Juseleeno, he suddenly remember the space time traveler John Titoer’s last word, 2004 Athens Olympic Game will be last one

But, if the earthquake is in the south of China , Nanning and Hai Nan, and there are no Olympic games, the Beijing Olympic Game will close successfully. But the problem is that China government is only care about the reputation and successfully of the Olympic game, ignore the small earthquakes, and no preparation before the big one. China may control the report, closed all the news . If so there will be a big disaster as the prophesy said. In Mr. Juseleenos warning letter said if there is no preparation to protect the citizens, will get huge loss

Mr. Juseleeno also predicted that glacier period is coming.

He also has the right prophesy for the weather, one of them is, in 2003, Europe got high temperature, 29th October, 2001, the warning letter said the nature world will beat back to the world, the temperature of France, Germany and Portugal will become higher, more than ten thousand people will die, this disaster will happen between 2003 and 2004. the truth is, the temperature in the summer of 2003 had reached the highest one which they’ve never had in Europe, about 35.000 people dead, especially France and Germany , about 14,000 people dead in France and 7000 people dead in Germany .

From Mr.Juseleeno’s prophesy, the earth temperature will get higher every year, till 2012, the temperature in Africa will reach 58 degrees and the same time will have serious water problem, after the temperature will be even higher, till 2015, the average temperature of earth will reach 59 degrees, a lot of people will die, the human will get frighten all over the world. If this is the truth, the countries will against each other because of the aridity and not enough food, Mr. Jeseleeno also predicted that there will be some new wars because of the aridity, but he didnt have clear prophesy, but he felt it wont be the normal war.

Anyway, the temperature is getting higher is not like the aerography said ( the speed is very slow), actually very quick. However the warmness seems not always incessancy, after the high temperature, a big part of ice of Greenland and South Pole will be dissolved and go to the sea, the circulation of the sea will be lower and become colder, it means a new glacier time. In Juseleenos prophesy seems also said after 2027, there will be a new glacier. Details of the prophesy as below:

The volcano of America yellow park will break out, the smoke and magma will go 1,600 kilometer far, Kansas , Nebraska , Montana will all get damaged. The situation is very serious now, if we still want to depend on others power, Mr. Juseleeno’s prophesy the black future will happen. We must understand the serious situation, individual to individual, group to group, country to county, hold you own responsibility, take action, because the deadline will come soon.

Inability and tiny ability is totally different, inability is no matter whatever we do, it wont help. But tiny ability mean more people contribute and the power will become strong. We have do start from ourselves, one people’s power is small but if we put everyones power together, It will be strong to change the future disaster.

Japanese Water Fueled Car

The price of gasoline increases almost every time I gas-up. It's more expensive owning a car than just riding public transporation. I wonder if anyone would still buy cars nowadays. As for me, I'm planning to just leave the car in our garage and take a cab instead. (Except when it's raining, 'coz it sure does difficult to catch a cab.)

A friend sent me a video on a Japanese car which doesn't need gasoline to run. This car is fueled by water. They haven't mass-produced this yet. But on the trend of the price increase of gasoline, I think they would sooner or later.

Asthma, Attack!

It's raining again. I remembered what just had happened last week. The rain poured heavily that brought flood in the city.

Below is a tip on how we might help in our own little way to prevent floods. This would not work if only one will do this. But this might be of great help if everybody would try to do this.

Install a tank in your backyard and use rainwater to:

clean your house and backyard
wash your rugs and carpet
bathe your pets
wash your vehicles
water the plants
laundry your clothes

Use rainwater -- this would not just save in water bills but would also help avoid flooding.

Let's take care of our resources and environment.

Don't Trust Nobody

I was always a defensive driver. I drive safely as possible to prevent any accident. It is just sad because even if you are a cautious driver, other drivers are not. Just yesterday, I met a slight accident on the road. I was driving home around 7pm. There happen to be a heavy traffic. There was this blue jeep from nowhere who passed by my right side, bumping my small car and I felt the car shook. My heart lept for fear that the car was damaged at that side. The blue jeep did not even stop to acknowledge the fault. I saw the driver looked back at the car but instead of stopping, he dashed as the traffic light signaled green to go. I stopped at a nearby gasoline station to check if there was any damage. Luckily there was none.

The Number 2 Rule in driving which I've read in Road Trip America really is important. It states that you shouldn't trust nobody. You can not rely on what other drivers will do. You have to anticipate their moves.

With the "healthy living" trend today, you might want to like forget about eating or eat less of everything and not eat chocolates or something that has a lot of calories in it. After reading this article by Paul Cris, my love of chocolates remain. It's not just delicious but has benefits as well.

"Since ages, chocolate is loved by all people due to its special taste. Many experts have noted that chocolates are unhealthy and continuous eating often results in tooth decay. Some medical experts have stated that chocolates contain sugar substances and thus add calories to the body and increase the sugar levels in the blood. Therefore they kill the free radicals and obstruct the oxidization of lipids into our body. The antioxidants are a concentrated form of flavonoids.

Sans Rival

My friends and I love eating. We usually hang-out in Mc Donald's. Our favorite food in Mc Donald's? Almost everything in the menu board.

One Saturday though was different. I told them to try Lachi's instead. It is located in Marfori and is famous of it's cakes. My favorite is the Sans Rival. How I love their Sans Rival.

I plan to go there everytime my sweet tooth craves for Sans Rival. On the second thought, I might try baking Sans Rival on my own. Thus, I searched for a recipe in the net so that I can try making my own. One try is enough. If I can't perfect it, it's ok. Lachi's is just 10-20 minutes ride to satifsy my craving.

INGREDIENTS

12 egg whites
2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon cream of tartar
2 cups chopped cashews, toasted
1 pound butter, softened
12 egg yolks
2 cups white sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons dark rum
2 cups chopped cashews, toasted

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Line 4 - 8x12 inch pans with parchment paper.
In a large glass or metal mixing bowl, beat egg whites until foamy. Sprinkle with cream of tartar. Gradually add 2 cups white sugar, continuing to beat until stiff peaks form. Fold in 2 cups chopped nuts. Divide meringue between the 4 pans, and spread evenly to edges.
Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes, or until light golden brown. Remove the meringue from the baking pans while still hot; allow to cool. When cool, trim edges so that all 4 meringue layers are uniformly shaped. Set aside.
To make buttercream filling: In a large bowl, Beat butter until light and fluffy. In a separate large bowl, whip egg yolks until thick and lemon colored.
Meanwhile, in a saucepan, combine 2 cups sugar and 1 cup water. Bring to a boil, and heat to 270 to 290 degrees F (132 to 143 degrees C), or until a small amount of syrup dropped into cold water forms hard but pliable threads. Add the hot syrup in a thin stream to the beaten egg yolks, while beating at high speed. Beat in the whipped butter until smooth. Beat in rum.
On one layer of meringue, spread approximately 1/4 of the buttercream evenly to edges. Repeat layers until all is used. Smooth sides with spatula. Sprinkle top with 2 cups chopped cashews. Freeze until solid. To serve, cut 1 inch slices from the frozen dessert.

Note

Almonds or hazelnuts can be used in this recipe instead of cashews, and the buttercream can be flavored with any flavor of liqueur, coffee powder, or fruit jam.

Mother Teresa of Calcutta was born on August 27, 1910 in Albania. She entered the Sisters of Our Lady of Loretto on November 28, 1928 in Ireland and made her first religious profession on May 24, 1931 after which she was sent to India as a missionary. In 1948, she decided to leave this congregation and worked for the poorest of the poor. Attracting followers, she called her community the Missionaries of Charity. Mother Teresa's work became known and she attracted the attention of the world. Her sisters spread far and wide and Mother Teresa gained the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. She died on September 5, 1997 and was beatified on October 19, 2003. She was known for her beautiful smile, radiating joy amidst the sufferings in which she lived daily.

5 Little Tips That Can Help You Lose Weight

I read an article by Renee Kennedy about weight loss and here are some tips I noted.

Planning a diet you can stick to is crucial in order to lose weight and become healthier. The plan should be realistic and attainable. It should not be a crash diet that you eventually will give up in about two weeks or so. The diet plan should be a lifestyle change. It could be changing the eating habits and have an exercise schedule. This could make subtle changes in your eating and exercise habits that could help you lose weight. Check your diet patterns and see if there are some nasty patterns that you can break. If you are snacking on a chocolate bar or a bag of chips, you might consider to change it into a healthier choice.

Renee Kennedy suggested to change some little habits. Consider to break some bad habits and instill a good habit in its place.

Fast Food. Do you eat out everyday for lunch? Start to bring your lunch to work at least 4 days a week. Even stopping by a fastfood twice a week can have a big impact on your diet. When you cook at home, you know what's going into your food.

Drinks. When you're thirsty, choose drinks that don't have any calories (water, tea, or diet soft drinks). If your drink choices do have have calories, they should have nutrients. Alcohol and soda both contain useless calories.

Snacks. Do you have a certain time of day that you just HAVE to snack? Fill your cupboard and refrigerator with low calorie snacks. Get rid of those high carbohydrate and sugary snacks.

Dinner. Maybe your hardest time of day is when you sit down to have a big meal. While you're cooking, eat a healthy snack - like a piece of fruit or a few low calorie crackers. Cook only what you will eat (no leftovers). If you make more than you're supposed to eat, serve from the stove, and put leftovers away before you sit down to eat. In other words, do not have extra food sitting in front of you on the table. Do you know that a meat serving should be only as big as a deck of cards?

Exercise. Exercise MUST be a part of your daily routines: When you're shopping, park your car far away from the store. Plan for this and do it EVERY time - especially in the cold weather! (The colder it is, the more calories you will burn.) Take the stairs instead of the elevator. Play a game of hide-and-seek with your kids. When you take the dog for a walk, make it a brisk walk. Can you find some way to sneak in some exercise everyday? Look carefully at your routines and plan something that you don't mind doing. If you like it, chances are you will continue to do it.

Earthquake in China

China was hit by an earthquake with a 7.9 magnitude yesterday. There are more than 12,000 people died and 18,000 still missing because of the natural calamity. There were schools that collapsed killing hundreds of children. A few survived and a lot still missing. The heavy rainpour is making it harder for rescuers to do their task.

The quake was China's deadliest since 1976, when 240,000 people were killed in the city of Tangshan, near Beijing in 1976.

Taking Care of Baby Rabbits

After two of our pet rabbit's babies died, I researched about rabbits and their babies in the internet. This is for added information for us to know why our baby rabbits died and what we should do or not do when taking care of the rabbits.

Below is an excerpt of the article I've read.

"Often times people are concerned that the mother rabbit "is not feeding the babies," sometimes because she is never seen with them. This is normal behavior for a domestic (or wild) rabbit and that mother rabbits do not "lay" with their offspring in the same manner as dogs and cats.

Domestic rabbits retain some of the genetic imprints of their wild European ancestors, who are animals preyed upon by others in nature. Mother rabbits instinctually sense that staying with their offspring would call a predator's attention to the nest. Adult rabbits have a scent, while babies do not yest have a strong scent.

Most mother rabbits will not hop into the nest (or box) to check on their infants during the day, although she is usually watching from a safe distance. This is normal behavior.

Rabbits feed their offspring only once or twice per day and will only do so when they feel safe, usually just before dawn and/or just after dusk. If humans and children are continually gathered around the cage, the mother may become too stressed to nurse the infants.

There is a way to determine that the mother is indeed feeding the offspring. Did the mother rabbit pull fur? Did she shred papers, or gather hay or rip up carpeting (if housed indoors) in an attempt to "make a nest?" Mother rabbits usually make a nest any time between a few days prior to the birth up to the day of birth itself. She may also do so without an actual pregnancy.

A mature female will often pull fur to make a nest, with or without a male present and regardless of whether actual mating has occurred. This hormonal behavior is known as a "false pregnancy."

If the mother has pulled fur in an attempt to make a nest, she will probably be all right if her nest is appropriate. It is safe to examine the babies and move them, with the mother, to a more proper place, if necessary. "

18th Baby On The Way

Tomorrow the world is celebrating Mother's Day. There are a lot of articles in the net about mothers and mother's day. I was to open my Yahoo email account, when I saw one of their articles that caught my attention. It's about a mother expecting her 18th baby. She is Michelle Duggar, 41 years old, married to Jim Bob Duggar. She is 6 months pregnant with her 18th baby.

I checked out their website and learned more about the Duggar Family. Michelle and Jim Bob got married in 1984 and at that time didn't want kids as they can't afford to have one yet. Thus, they opted to use birth control pills. After four years, they decided to have their first child. Then Michelle went back to taking birth control pills. She again got pregnant but had a miscarriage. After consulting to a doctor, they found out that while taking the pill you can get pregnant and then miscarry. They were grieved. They then prayed and asked God for forgiveness. They asked God to bless them with as many children as He saw fit in His timing. Now they are blessed with 17 children and another 1 coming in January 2009.

Condolence to My Rabbit

I was so happy last week when my nephew excitedly announced that he saw baby rabbits in our lawn. We didn't really know that our pet rabbit Cookie was pregnant, until the day we saw her babies. There were five of them and of different colors. There were two white rabbits, one black, one brown and one was half white and half black. My favorite was the one that looked liked a cow. It's upper body was white and the lower half was black. It's face was white framed with black. It was the cutest rabbit I've ever seen.

It rained yesterday. I think the sky was crying for us, for one of our white baby rabbits died. My nephews were so sad. There were four left of the babies.

This morning I found out that my favorite baby rabbit died as well. I felt sad.

I wonder if Cookie is also sad.

I just hope that the other three will live.
